which is why sometimes in your dreams, prayers, hopes or affirmations... it pays to be specific..:)

If I could have a million dollars today.. or one true friend.. I would choose the friend.. because then I know... I would be far richer.. beyond the million/s destined for my bank account anyway:)

Chrome, I'll throw into the mix.. money can change people.. can change the way people treat you.. when you have money you might never know whether your friends are there for you.. or are just hangers on's..
It may be nice .. at first.. to be 'adored'..
But if it's not genuine, you may wish for the day you could just kick back..eat some grilled chicken and bread chatting and sharing a laugh with a real friend..who cares not about your things.. but about you.. to joke with, cry with, share your last 'Rolo' with ..what say you now?

ReplyDeleteand I guess, if and when your mate lets you down or stabs you in the back the cash can and will cushion the blow significantly... even pay for a top notch counsellor if needs be... hmmm as Chrome said.. friend vs cash... tough call...

Lets not get it twisted you guys forgot one other aspect, Family too can stab you in the back...so in this case Family or Cash hmmm I suppose it's a tough call either way you look at each side of the coin people!!! Would I take sister, brother, mother, father or Money well!!!

there are those who cannot function in relationships because of 'family' struggle to trust/show or be loved.. you name it..messed up
It's a hard call... harder than I initially thought, as those who may love you without money, may resent you if they knew you had it, do all they can to have you lose it..hmmm
But with a true friend you wouldn't need to worry about all that.. it's a hard task.. and I think thats' why they can be hard to come by.
