Quorn

I don't eat meat, pork, shell fish, and other sea foods.
I'm not a fussy eater, but some things I just don't eat.. for various reasons
The last time I had Quorn it made me violently ill.
Years later.. and today there was Quorn in my plate.. Just being on the plate has proved enough

Maybe I'm allergic.. I don't know..

But I'm so sick that I'm weak, getting home was a struggle, I made it back on a wing and a prayer
I've got to get to bed to cry and moan.. seriously
Hope I can sleep.. cant type now so forgive my absence

See you when I'm better

  2. I say this with good intention but quorn is synthetic. It isn't real food if you look at how the make it. I think that's why you are having this reaction. Soup and water will sort you out but pls read up on quorn. Feel better soon!

  3. hi Sherry,
    Gosh i hope so too
Its a meat substitute, made from something called mycroproteins which having checked is a fungi. I looked online, and apparently a person can be allergic although rare, I think that's me, Awful, I got a little sleep thanks, so off again shortly. I watched Bruce Parry once drink a mixture knowing it would make him violently ill, then hallucinate, all part of his emergence into the life of a tribe. amazing and excruciating to watch. That's one thing i could never do.
