Happy Saturday and summer, Dawna! I've been reading through and listening to your recent posts. Such great and upbeat music! The man in the hat playing checkers in the "Wining Addiction" video played just like my brother when my brother was beating me at checkers! It made me laugh.
Naked little kiddo at a party ~ It would be no problem in some culture. The worst response would be to make the child feel ashamed. I'm not sure what I would have done ~ I guess I would have to have been there.
And I don't believe for a second that everyone gives up when they get older! When you give up you might as well stop living. But then I've been lucky and blessed so far, so maybe I would feel differently if things were really hard for me. It's hard to predict what I would do, if I had to face terminal illness or great tragedy. I've lived long enough to know sometimes I surprise myself. But I would hope to and plan to never give up!
