Thought of the day.. how many of us would say no to a huge bonus?.. yet would it not depend on how much you need it?.. a moral issue?

  1. Stephen Hester has decided to waive the bonus. Too right! what work has he done to deserve that money? for work in a bank we bailed out that may yet bring us all down?

  2. Hmmm .. bet his wife was pissed.. ( if he has one).. but then i suspect they may barely notice..the fact he's able to turn it down tells me it's not essential.. I don't know.. mucky business..
    The value we place on certain jobs over others is skewiff..
