25 Reasons to Vote Labour
Is it just me.. or has this been the most boring election campaign since.. well since records began? Lol!!
Geesh.. lets get it over with already
Here you are anyway... I am a member of the party and it would be amiss of me not to pass this on....

25 good reasons to vote Labour on May 7th,
1. Because we will stand up for everyone, not just a privileged few.
2. We'll raise the minimum wage to more than £8 by October 2019 and promote the living wage.
3. We'll ban exploitative zero-hours contracts so that anyone working regular hours for more than 12 weeks can get a regular contract. David Cameron said he couldn't live on one. If he can't, then no one should have to.
4. We won't give tax breaks to millionaires (the Tories did in 2013, and they're likely to do it again if they win). We'll cut taxes for millions of people on low and middle incomes instead.
5. We'll clamp down on tax avoidance and ban 'non-dom' status (which was created in 1799 and a lot has changed since then...).
6. We will cut the deficit every year and balance the books, sensibly and fairly, without the extreme spending cuts the Tories are planning to make.
7. We will scrap the Bedroom Tax (from day one) that hits the disabled and most vulnerable in society.
8. We will extend free childcare from 15 to 25 hours a week for working parents of three- and four-year-olds.
9. We will control immigration with fair rules and make it illegal for employers to undercut wages by exploiting workers.
10. Because we are the party that will save the NHS.
11. Labour founded the NHS in 1948, it is one of our party's proudest achievements, and we have saved it from crisis before.
12. In five years of Tory-led government we've seen rising waiting times, increasing privatisation and falling standards.
13. We will train and recruit 20,000 more nurses and 8,000 more doctors by 2020, paid for by tackling tax avoidance, a levy on tobacco companies, and a tax on the most expensive properties worth over £2 million. We will guarantee a GP appointment within 48 hours - and on the same day for those who need it.
14. We will radically improve mental health provision, especially for young people, by prioritising investment in under-18s and making sure teachers are trained to spot problems early.
15. We will stop Tory privatisation of the NHS and cap the profits private companies can make from providing NHS services.
16. Because we are the party that cares about creating opportunities for all young people.
17. We will cut tuition fees from £9,000 to £6,000 (which will help students and is also good for our economy). me - ( what about adults!?)
18. We will make sure that there is an apprenticeship for any school leaver that gets the grades. We will also improve technical education and careers advice in schools to help students prepare for jobs. If you chose not to go to university, your future should be as secure as if you do.
19. We'll deliver smaller class sizes for five, six and seven-year olds to give all children the best start.
20. Because we will end rip-off prices on services that people rely on.
21. We'll freeze energy bills until 2017 so they can fall but not rise, and give the regulator the power to cut bills when wholesale prices fall. No-one should have to choose between heating and eating.
22. We will get a fairer deal for renters by banning rip-off letting fees and capping rents at the rate of inflation during secure three-year tenancies.
23. We will freeze rail fares in the first year of a Labour Government while we reform the railways.
24. Because we are determined to tackle climate change and create a million green jobs.
25. Because the choice at this election is between a Labour government or five more years of the Tories.
( they forgot the Libdems..)

It's a rainy Sunday. A beautiful Sunday.
The rain, for some reason... I found a great comfort
I woke up ( after finally getting to sleep) in the latter earlier hours with this song in my head.
My Sunday sermon (if I have one) is....
Strive to be the best that you can be
It's worth it..
and it matters
Strive to develop spiritually... emotionally,
Strengthen your mind and your physical..
.. to the best of your ability
Strive to learn more and more each day that one day you.. can teach others.
Aim to be a blessing in the lives of those you meet.
Let your first intention be a selfish one.
Let your first intention be to take good care of yourself, so that you may fulfil your second intention.... to take care of others
If you achieve the 1st, yet renege on the latter... remember that one day, you too may wish, that someone somewhere honours what you once failed to do..
Don't leave it all to them..
Be happy.
To find something to be happy about in your life... may just save your life
..or at the very least.. extend it ( In a good way)
Love.
Be awed at life.
Let your existence count.
I am reminded also to say trust in god..
For there may be times when your trust in yourself, or in others... may be absent.
Fret not, and fear not
Do your thing..
and envy noone.
Never set out to deceive for selfish gain..
Unless you yourself, are willing to be a victim of deceit.
Ask someone younger for advice...
Often they can see things clearer than you
The answers are sometimes very simple

2 + 2 = Errr.. I dunno. Woz neva great at maff.
During a phone chat. (Lecture.. trust me on that) One of my brothers left me with this statement a few days ago.
It irritated me no end.
'Women are less intelligent than men, and less moral.'
Whilst he was happy to assert there were 1 or 2 exceptions... on average the fact is...he stated ' men are simply a better breed of human than women'.
Dick'ed.
I hope he never gets laid again!.
Ironically, I know of a few men who probably believe this to be true. In fact, it's possible that most men do, when you consider the way in which women are treated ( in poorer countries especially) across the world..
Used for their bodies more often than not, and treated with utter contempt.
chastised for not having children... chastised for having them.
I'm not happy with some of things women do to each other with no mercy, and I especially detest FGM but that's another subject.
If men really were more intelligent than women, surely they would recognise that to subjugate half the population damages all in the long run.
Surely they would recognise that it's hmmm not really a smart idea to continue to blow up, shoot and destroy thier own surroundings, or the surroundings of others.
Governments would recognise that failure to take care of thier populace is a high risk control mechanism that in reality, leaves them and thier tenure extremely vulnerable, after all... a hungry man is an angry man an all that.
They would know that if you educate a women, you educate a nation
If they were more 'moral' they wouldn't rape women and children (in some of the worst instances using war as an excuse). They would recognize the humanity in others, and do their best to do the right thing, for all.
These male world leaders... if they were more 'moral' ...would do a better job.
I've met enough men in my time who I'm convinced must think I'm stupid.(The way they've carried on).
Bless them.
I love men in the main, but come on... do me a favour.
All things being equal... I think that things are.. well.. pretty equal...
Both men and women have issues and need work
Both have an amazing ability to exploit those less fortunate even if they themselves were once less fortunate.
Both have an amazing ability to develop in spiritual awareness, or revel in the kind of nonsensical mindless behaviour that is overtly popular.
We have choice
We have.. free will.

All that daft banter and commentary before the fight
..' Ooo... yeah, i'm gonna knock you out sucker ..'
Whatever.
I can't take it seriously.
Dont get me wrong.. back in the day it had a certain appeal.. the boxers were great characters, I loved Ali, Bruno, Lennox, Eubanks...and I enjoyed big fights as much as the next person.
But not anymore
The whole thing reminds me of the book.. of mice and men...
Not sure why
I guess I don't like seeing men reduced to thier lowest common denominator.
However, boxing is so lucrative.
Most sports are these days.. aside from women's football
The money that these guys earn is no joke.. promoters also. T'umping down a man in the ring is big business.
A friend of mine wants to watch it.
If I fancy some company later maybe I'll hook up the pay per view... and sleep right through it all

I'm kidding about wanting to hurt someone.... but i'm not kidding about feeling somewhat anxious/stressed today.
Most people are pacifists... until you upset them..
or they have access to weaponry, alcohol and a large dose of testosterone.. oh yeah, and a penis. [click]
I'm having an emotional day. Woke up with a headache, which I think I contracted by osmosis via the phone from Mr K, who had it last night.
Then we just seemed to upset each other despite not really being the cause of each others upset.
Love life and Wine.
Print that on my gravestone come the hour come the day.
Then ask the question... did I get loads.. and enjoy
