Reggaes Gone Country..

I cannot tell you how much Jim Reeves got played in our house growing up.. I have a feeling it was the same in West Indian homes across the UK..
What is that??

The was another guy with a saxaphone.. Al something.. big star in our house ( for the elders anyway)..to be fair nice tunes

:) tell me about country and western! had a uncle that would play Kenny Rogers so much we had to sabotage the tapes. Another funny one was rock, My neck of the Nigerian woods had a thing for it

If I could ask anything of you, it would be that you step outside of what you know, and embrace people from other backgrounds, to try to build genuine friendships that span across the economic and racial divide.

If we want to put an end to isms such as racism, maybe we need to begin closer to home. Reserve judgments and open our minds to new ways of thinking…new ways of being.

It’s not easy breaking with the norm, but it’s worth a try.
