Hampton was blatantly assassinated for the threat he represented to the American government. those were very dark times and their effects are still felt today. an admirable man who gave his life for what he believed in, deserves a lot more recognition
He was .. He was so young, so powerful in his persona and rhetoric.. when I think of how young the panthers were and compare it to today I do sometimes wonder hmmm. So focussed, fearless. Yes Hampton deserves much more recognition.
